Seared Tuna Salad with Asian Vinaigrette

According to Wikipedia, Raw foodism is a lifestyle promoting  the consumption of un-cooked, un-processed and often organic foods as a large percentage of the diet. It is believed that the greater percentage of raw food in the diet, the greater the health benefits. Do I consider myself a Raw foodist? Not really, but I do enjoy my steaks and certain fish rare, my eggs runny, my sashimi to be impeccable and my oysters to be fresh and top quality (Please, don't poison me with oysters from Chinese buffets). So far, my stomach has held up pretty strong. I probably have gotten food poisoning once?? And it wasn't from consumption of raw foods.

Hubby made this yesterday, recipe adapted from food network. He did not follow the recipe completely, but we both thoroughly enjoyed it and will be making a lot more seared tuna from now on.

....And of course you can't eat a nice meal with out a bottle of wine.
