California Roll Chinese Style

A couple weeks ago, I had the pleasure to attend a cooking class by Grace, our church chef. Her family owns Lu Lu's Noodles in Oakland. What a treat! I had so much fun learning to make steamed pork buns, spring rolls, and sushi. I always knew making sushi rolls was not rocket science (even though good quality fresh sushi tastes like it fell from heaven), but never had the motivation to actually go do it. Her class gave me the inspiration and that extra push to try it out. 

The ingredients I used inside the rolls were imitation crab meat, avocado's, and pickled radish. Regular california rolls uses cucumber instead of pickled radish so thats why i called mine California Roll Chinese Style!
